Pure as the driven snow

As I watched God paint the landscape white, it reminded me of His words, "though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be made white as snow". Oh what deep and abiding love for us, that no matter how filthy with sin we are, one stroke of His love, and we are renewed, and made pure. It brings tears to my eyes as I wonder at the Grace extended to us, because of the scarlet blood of Jesus that was spilled for me, so that I may be white as snow. Jesus, who was purity incarnate, took on every single sin ever committed and will be committed. Far worse than the physical pain He endured was being ripped away from His Father, and the saddling of sin on Him. He took it all, so we could be free of sin and death.

Oh my loving Saviour, thank you for your gift of redemption and your love for me. I praise you for loving me so much that you use circumstances to perfect me in your Love. Even though, Father, I don't know why I endure some things, I rejoice because you DO. You love me. You want the very best for me. If I am going through it, it's because you think it's important for me. That is enough. Make it enough, even when I struggle against it. I submit all of me to You. Mold me. Meld me with your Spirit.

Selah.
